Dr Rabia Shaikh

Dr Rabia Shaikh, a highly regarded obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility specialist, is able to assist patients with a wide range of fertility concerns as well as all aspects of women’s health. She has a particular interest in endometriosis, laparoscopic surgery, male infertility and fertility preservation.

Her specialist practice also extends to fertility preservation for cancer patients from adolescents to adults. Rabia’s kind, supportive and caring manner makes her popular with patients and she prides herself on working closely together with her fertility patients on their journey to parenthood, making herself available if they need extra support and taking the time to carefully explain all available options.

Rabia gained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Pakistan. After moving to Australia she completed her Masters in Reproductive Medicine and fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. She has also undertaken a further 3 years of subspecialist studies in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (CREI), and has worked at a number of leading hospitals across New South Wales.

Rabia consults at our Westmead clinic. She is also fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
